For the greater part of my life, i have had a troubled relationship with my father and his ways. 

My father Freddy Weiss was a rebel. Driven by an irresistible urge to question everything in existence. 

Thru the 60’s, along with his work as an AD-photographer, he also managed two broken marriages with three kids to boot.

 

Rebellious, curious and probably quite horny, he applied for a job as a pornographic photographer with Ole Ege, a well-known and

well-established figure in the pornindustry. Together they manifested themselves as pioneers in the Danish pornographic film and 

photography industry.

As a little boy I practically never saw my father. For him pornography became an obsession, at least in the beginning.

Today I understand the nature of the forces that got a hold on him. It was hard for him not to give in to the urges in a time where everything was new and basically a “help your self table”.

 

Thru a large part of my life I hated him for his lack of parental responsibilities, while at the same time revering him for his lifestyle,

courage and magnificent erotic pictures.

With that in mind, it was a great joy when I, many years after his death came into possession of some old negatives and slides,

that until then, had been stored in a cold dark basement.

 

With my old friend and colleague, Joachim Høst, I set about a long and difficult restoration process, to save these mold ridden pictures,

utterly determined to bring a new life to these beautiful and amazing erotic photos, though this time in a totally different context.

With the Models, the History, the Colours and especially the Motif, these pictures should be seen as unique Photographic “Art” from one of the most revolutionary periods in recent times.

 

Out of about three hundred photos, we have selected twelve beautiful and unique pictures. Some will call them erotic, others pornographic.

In any circumstance, these photos contain so much fantasy, authenticity and passion, that they are hard not to like.
